May09Debra Niemann Thanks for the series of vieods on education. I've forwarded these along to our local school board member who is a retired band leader, so he can think outside of the box. Our school board just sent a resolution to the State of Texas protesting the newest standardized test mostly because of the expense and confusion over implementation of the new test, but hopefully these vieods will help us think broader than throwing out just the standardized test.As an aside, we have a dyslexic child who has difficulties with conventional school but can be quite creative. Our challenge is to figure out how to keep that creativity while helping him survive his education. Answer: lots of prayer!
